2023 Fantasy QB Rankings & Our Top 5 Favorite Picks
The NFL offseason is in full swing. Mock drafts are afoot, and many football fans are doing extensive research trying to find sleepers to impress their friends and family.
While it may be a bit early for redraft leagues to fill their rosters, best ball drafts on Underdog are flowing like crazy. This is a good indication of what fans are thinking about the upcoming season, at least at this point in the offseason.
Today, we’re going to look at Underdog’s ADP and put together our top-five favorite quarterbacks where they are currently being drafted. Keep in mind this is just for one-quarterback leagues. Super flex rankings and drafts will look vastly different.

Justin Fields- Current ADP 49.1
Fields had a vastly improved season in 2022 than he did in 2021, which was great news for Chicago Bears fans. His upside as a rusher is too good to pass up at the current ADP, which is why he’s our first pick in this exercise.
At Fields’ current ADP of 49.1, I’d much rather have him than Mike Williams, DJ Moore, Christian Kirk, Joe Mixon, and Brandon Aiyuk. All are going in the same range, but all have a lot of uncertainty.
Plus, Fields is currently going behind Lamar Jackson and Joe Burrow. If I can get him as the sixth quarterback at the board towards the beginning of the fifth round, I’ll do that in a heartbeat. In one quarterback leagues, I want my quarterback to have high-upside potential, which is what Fields presents.
Daniel Jones- Current ADP 112.6
Daniel Jones did what he had to do in 2022, which was proving to the New York Giants that he was worthy of a contract extension. The team obliged, and now Jones is tied to the team for the next four seasons.
I feel similarly about Jones that I did about Fields. He’s a quarterback that isn’t necessarily a world-beater with his arm, but his propensity to rush the football is fantastic. Jones rushed for 708 yards last season, the fifth-best mark in the league.
With this upside in mind, along with the fact that he’s being drafted behind Allen Lazard, Brian Robinson, and Odell Beckham Jr, we’re going to take him at this spot all day long.
Jared Goff- Current ADP 129.4
Why does everybody in the fantasy community hate Jared Goff? Goff threw for the sixth-most yards in the NFL last year and was tied for the fifth-most touchdown passes last season. Plus, his weapons in Detroit have only gotten better during the offseason.
With more time to grow and develop with them during the offseason, Goff’s relationship with skill-position players is on an upward trajectory for the 2023 season.
If I can get Goff in the 10th round of drafts this season, I’ll gladly punt at QB until that point, loading up on depth at my other positions.
Jordan Love- Current ADP 153.1
Jordan Love is the biggest wildcard of this group thus far. He’s entering his first season as the Green Bay Packers starting quarterback, taking over for Aaron Rodgers. With a current ADP of 153.1 and being taken as the 20th overall quarterback, however, I think that Love is a smash pick here.
In a 1QB league, I’m likely taking a veteran like Kirk Cousins, Dak Prescott, or Geno Smith above him, having Love as a great backup option. If Love is healthy, he will be the guy for the Packers.
Quarterbacks have found a way in Green Bay for the past 30 years, and I’m more than willing to take a chance on Love in the late rounds of drafts.
Bryce Young- Current ADP 177
My analysis of Bryce Young is similar to that of Jordan Love. He’s a guy that the Carolina Panthers clearly believed in, trading away the farm for the first overall pick. Clearly, the organization wants him to be their franchise star moving forward.
While we haven’t seen Young hit the NFL gridiron yet, we’ve certainly seen what he can do at the collegiate level. Young was highly touted for his strong arm and ability to make great decisions, despite having a very small frame. Again, we’re not going to take Young as our QB1 in this format, but his upside makes him the perfect QB2 for your roster.
And, who knows? If he out-performs your starter that you took in the earlier rounds, Young is a perfect plug-and-play option, giving you a great value from your new starting quarterback. You’ll be glad you drafted Young instead of fighting your league mates for him on the waiver wire later in the season.
