Bears at Vikings: Best Underdog Player Prop Picks for MNF
Happy Monday, everyone! We hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving, and that your weekend was filled with great family time. There have already been several good games throughout Week 12, and we’re hoping tonight’s contest between the Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Bears closes the week strong.
One might look at this game thinking the Vikings are in for an easy win. The Bears have struggled lately, and they seem content to coast for the rest of the season. However, divisional games always present an additional challenge, and this might not be a walk in the park for the Vikings.
We are projecting the Vikings to win in this one, and our player prop picks are in line with that level of thinking. There are three props from Underdog that we’ve identified in this game, and we’re excited to share them with you all. Let’s get into it!
DJ Moore OVER 4.5 Receptions
This might be a tough game for the Bears’ passing attack. The Vikings’ defense seems to get better every week, and with Justin Fields still recovering from injury, we’re not expecting a lot from him tonight.
However, that doesn’t discount the fact that DJ Moore is a beast, and is his No. 1 target in this offense. Moore has caught 5+ balls in two of his past three games and has been targeted at least nine times in his past two games.
Fields loves throwing him the ball, and Moore is a great safety net in this offense. Look for Moore to hit the over in this one with ease, potentially before halftime if the Bears find themselves in a negative game script early.
Jordan Addison OVER 43.5 Receiving Yards
We’re a bit surprised to see Addison’s receiving line so low in this one. The Bears allow 143.2 yards per game to opposing receivers on the season, an indication that they have a leaky secondary.
Plus, Addison has put together a fantastic rookie season, proving to the Vikings that he is the perfect Robin to the team’s Batman in Justin Jefferson. He has achieved at least 44 receiving yards in each of the Vikings’ last five games, a steady-handed receiver in the face of adversity.
With his connection with Josh Dobbs in mind, we like his chances of going over this line in his sixth straight game.
Josh Dobbs OVER .5 Rush & Receiving Touchdowns (1.25X Boost)
The tides have changed within the Vikings’ locker room. This team has fully embraced Dobbs, who has turned out to be an adequate replacement for Kirk Cousins. The Vikings have won two of three games with Dobbs under center, with their only loss coming heartbreakingly to the Denver Broncos last week.
Dobbs has shown prowess as both a passer and a rusher, rushing for a touchdown in five straight games. We like his chances to fall into the endzone again this week, and with the Underdog boost, if this play hits, we get a bit of extra cash in our pockets as well.
