Black Friday Player Props for Dolphins at Jets
NFL fans have a lot to look forward to in Week 12. There are several marquee games kicking off this week, which includes the typical Sunday slate. The NFL has treated us to three games on Thanksgiving this year, as well as the first-ever Black Friday game.
In this inaugural Black Friday matchup, the New York Jets will face off against the Miami Dolphins. On a normal week, this game would not likely have a lot of eyes on it. However, with fans waking up after a long day of eating and drinking, what better way is there to recover than to watch some NFL football?
While this might not be the best football game in history, we’re still expecting it to be a fun game. With the leftover turkey in hand, sit back, relax, and put some skin in the game with the three below player props, all of which can be found on Underdog.
Raheem Mostert OVER 14.5 Rushing Attempts
The majority of sportsbooks have the line for this game set at 7.5 points in favor of the Dolphins. With Tim Boyle getting the start for the Jets, we’re thinking this one could be effectively over by the end of the first half.
If that is the case, that the Dolphins jump out to an early lead, Raheem Mostert could be a big part of their gameplan, particularly in the second half. Mostert has been a catalyst for big plays in this Dolphins, a change of pace back that has helped Tua Tagovailoa’s passing game tremendously.
Plus, he is coming off a performance where he had 22 rushing attempts against the Las Vegas Raiders, a good sign for his potential usage in this one.
Jason Sanders OVER 2.5 Extra Points
We are big advocates for the Dolphins in this game and are anticipating them to score several touchdowns, even against the Jets’ tough defense.
If Tagovailoa has the big game that we believe he will put up, and Mostert is heavily involved in the run game, the Dolphins should score at least three touchdowns.
Sanders continues to be a steady kicker, particularly accurate on his extra points. With this in mind, we’re confidently taking the over on this line of 2.5 extra points.
Garrett Wilson UNDER 49.5 Receiving Yards
If you have followed my picks for any amount of time, you’ll know that I don’t take unders very often. I find it much more fun to root for offensive and defensive production rather than hoping a player has a bad day.
With that being said, we cannot trust Tim Boyle and his pass-catchers, even if their name happens to be Garrett Wilson. Wilson is the clear WR1 in this offense, but given Boyle’s lack of track record with the Jets, we’re not expecting any receiver to have a big day, including Wilson.
Look for a lackluster day of offense from the Jets, ultimately resulting in a poor performance from Wilson.
