4 CBB Player Props for First Four Games on Tuesday, March 19: Can Harris Lead Howard into the Next Round?

Happy Tuesday, everyone! Finally- we can sense that March Madness is here. There are two first four games taking place tonight in CBB, both of which should be a great pregame to the 64-team action.

The first game is between Howard and Wagner, and the second game is between Colorado State and Virginia. The winner of each game will enter the 64-team field, while the loser will not have a chance to be national champions.

Ahead of tonight’s action, we have studied the board and put together our four favorite props, two from each game. Take a look at the analysis below, if you’re interested, come tail our picks over on Underdog. Let’s get it!

Bryce Harris OVER 15.5 Points

If you’re looking for a fun player to root for tonight, look no further than Bryce Harris from Howard. Harris is the team’s leading scorer, averaging 16.6 PPG, slightly ahead of Seth Towns as the best scorer on the roster.

We like Harris’ odds to make a big splash in this one, especially since he has scored 16+ points in his past three games. Harris comes to play when it matters most, and with his team’s tournament life on the line, we’re banking on him to come through.

Tahron Allen OVER 13.5 Points

If you didn’t watch the NEC Tournament (and, we don’t blame you,) then you would have missed out on Tahron Allen’s massive performance. He scored 22 points in Wagner’s title game matchup against Merrimack, helping will his team to victory.

Similarly to Harris on Howard, Allen is more than comfortable with big moments, which is why we’re confident in his ability to score at least 14 points tonight.

Ryan Dunn OVER 6.5 Rebounds

Oh, how the mighty have fallen. Virginia missed the NCAA Tournament last year for the first time in a decade, and now, they find themselves in a win-and-in scenario against Colorado State.

This should be an incredible game, a game we expect Ryan Dunn to be heavily involved in. While Dunn is a guard, he is much more of a rebounder than a scorer, which is mainly attributed to the hustle he puts forth every game.

We expect Dunn to give it his all in this matchup, garnering closer to ten rebounds than seven tonight, which is why we’re taking his over.

Isaiah Stevens UNDER 23.5 Points, Rebounds, and Assists

We were surprised to see how high Isaiah Stevens’ PRA line was for this game, especially when considering how he has played lately. Stevens has only achieved 24 PRA in one of his past three games, as he didn’t perform his best during the Mountain West Championship.

This doesn’t bode well for him in this game, so we’re fading him tonight, believing he’s going to go under his PRA total.
