Chargers at Jets: Best Underdog Props for MNF

Bet on the running backs, Ekeler and Hall to reach their receiving yard total in their Monday Night matchup while Zach Wilson has a solid game against a Chargers defense allowing an abundance of yards through the air.
RB Austin Ekeler (LAC) OVER 29.5 REC YDS
With the Jets allowing over 40 YPG to opposing RBs through the air, Austin Ekeler’s dominance as a receiving back should continue on Monday Night, especially with added attention on Keenan Allen from the Jets secondary.
Outside of the Kansas City game where Ekeler was completely shut down, he’s hit this mark in each affair. After looking like himself in the Bolts’ Week 8 win against Chicago, expect Herbert to look Ekeler’s way through the air as the Jets get pressure on LA early and often.
RB Joshua Kelley (LAC) UNDER 22.5 RUSH YDS
With Ekeler finally returning to form, Josh Kelley should revert back to his backup role on primetime. Although the Jets allow over 100 yards on the ground, New York’s defensive line could beat out the Chargers offensive line as this game could turn into an Austin Ekeler breakout extremely quick.
While Kelley might get a few goal line carries in place of Ekeler, his inconsistency is something to be weary about.
LB Eric Kendricks (LAC) OVER 7.0 TKL+AST
With the Jets focusing on their short yardage gains, the Chargers linebackers should feast this week.
With the New York passing attack going through short gains to Garrett Wilson and Breece Hall through the middle of the field, Kendricks should hit this mark for the fourth consecutive contest.
QB Zach Wilson (NYJ) OVER 215.5 PASS YDS
The Chargers are allowing over 359 yards per contest through the air and with the Chargers offense due to put up a fair amount of points, Wilson should battle for his 3rd “over” of the season.
LA’s defense under Staley have allowed some massive plays thus far and with playmakers Breece Hall and Garrett Wilson in mid-season form, expect this Jets offense to come back from behind with some chunk plays coordinated by Zach Wilson.
RB Breece Hall (NYJ) OVER 17.5 REC YDS
After hitting this mark two games in a row, it’s time to fully buy stock in the 2nd year back Breece Hall.
After securing 60+ percent of the snap share with Dalvin Cook fizzled out of the offense, Breece is the best bet of Monday night with the Chargers allowing upwards of 35 yards through the air to opposing RBs.
