2 MLB Pitcher Props for Wednesday, July 10th: Will Sears Dominate Boston?
JP Sears faces Boston on Wednesday night!

We’re in the dog days of summer, all we can bet is MLB and WNBA and with the All-Star break looming we need to take advantage before the LONG break.

Thankfully, there are great options on the board today for some gems. Here are two pitcher props you should keep your eye on tonight.

Cleveland Guardians’ Tanner Bibee OVER 6.5 Strikeouts

The second-year player out of Cal State is making his name heard in the big leagues, he’s 7-3 this season with a 3.67 era and 113 strikeouts. That number will be rising tonight.

The Guardians face off on the road against the Tigers, who are very heavy on strikeouts. Detroit holds a 26% K rate against right-handed pitchers. Bibee has hit this line in three of his last five starts with a 28% k rate, ranked 10th among pitchers, and a 27% whiff rate. The 25-year-old should be set to throw another gem tonight.

Oakland Athletics’ JP Sears OVER 5.5 Strikeouts

Oakland may be one of the worst teams in the league, but JP Sears is one of the better pitchers on the roster. The 28-year-old left holds a 4.67 ERA this season, but one thing sticks out more than anything for this prop. He’s a lefty.

In 2024, the Red Sox have the most trouble with left-handed pitchers. They hold a league-high 33% K rate against lefty’s. For Sears, he’s picked it up as of late, recording six strikeouts in his last two starts. If you look at the last six games Boston faced a lefty. Five out of six of those pitchers have recorded at least six K’s.

I am taking this bet plus money and laddering it up to eight strikeouts. Time to take advantage.
