3 MLB Player Props for Tuesday, June 25
One of our top MLB player props for Tuesday involves Tarik Skubal.

The NBA Finals and Stanley Cup Final have officially concluded. This means that, until football season starts, the only active major sport is the MLB. While this might seem frustrating to some, it’s a great time of year for baseball fans!

This is an opportunity for them to hone in on their favorite teams, uninterrupted by fandom of another sport. We are among those baseball fans who are excited by this time of year, which is why we love putting together player props from Underdog. We have listed three of our favorites below, take a look and tail with us if you like what you see!

Tarik Skubal OVER 5.5 Hits Allowed

Despite having a solid start to the year by winning five of his first six starts, Tarik Skubal has struggled lately. He’s lost his last two outings, going only four innings against the Atlanta Braves and six innings against the Houston Astros.

While Skubal might be looking for a break tonight, he instead has to face off against the Philadelphia Phillies, one of the best teams in baseball.

The Phillies are raking at the moment, and while Skubal has shown that he can pitch well at times, we don’t like his odds of throwing a gem tonight, which is why we’re taking the over on his line of 5.5 hits allowed.

Bobby Witt Jr. OVER 1.5 Total Bases

We are very confident that tonight is the night when Bobby Witt Jr. will go back to his regularly scheduled programming of having a fantastic performance.

Witt had the best batting average in baseball at one point in the year, but because he’s only had one hit in his last four games, his average has gone down a bit. Thankfully for him, the Kansas City Royals take on the Miami Marlins tonight, who are rolling out Yonny Chirinos on the bump.

Chirinos is coming off a rocky outing against the Saint Louis Cardinals, and if he continues that trend in this game, Witt should be able to more than recover from his recent woes.

Gerrit Cole OVER 4 Hits Allowed

The New York Yankees and New York Mets are facing off in what should be a great matchup tonight. The Yankees have been one of the best teams in baseball all year, and the Mets are starting to get into a rhythm of their own.

Rolling out Gerrit Cole tonight could be seen as a risky move in a game like this, considering that he’s only started one game this season.

We don’t think it’s going to be a great game for the veteran and are taking the over on his hits line as a result.
