Best NBA Player Prop Picks for Tuesday, February 6: Claxton Should Torch a Bad Mavs Defense

Capitalize on Nic Claxton playing well, while Devin Booker seeks revenge against the Bucks on Tuesday. Check out the best NBA player prop picks for February 6! Best of luck, folks!

C Nic Claxton (BKN) OVER 14.5 PTS

Nic Claxton and the Nets need a win as they face up against the Mavs. Dallas puts up points, but they also allow over 118 of them per game which lands in the lower quadrant of the league.

Furthermore, the Mavs allow 11.4 offensive boards per game which ranks in the bottom three of the Association.

With Claxton coming off a game with 7 blocks and 15 boards, look for his confidence to be sky-high against a Dallas team that still doesn’t have a solidified answer to their interior problems.

F Precious Achiuwa (NYK) OVER 24.5 PTS+REB+AST

During the Knicks’ last 10 games where they went 9-1, Precious averaged about 17.5 PTS+REB+AST. With the Knicks injury report mounting up to become a hefty receipt, look for Precious to get added minutes today.

Achiuwa and the Knicks will be going against a Grizzlies team they should handle in the first three quarters after coming off a tough loss to the Lakers. Achiuwa has earned the staff’s trust, playing 30 or more minutes in each of the last five games.

F Jaime Jaquez Jr. (MIA) OVER 5.5 REB+AST

The Heat rookie swingman has fallen back down to Earth over the last two months, with his shooting percentages and effectiveness dropping slightly. With the addition of Terry Rozier, it’s safe to say Jaime’s role has altered ever-so-slightly.

Still playing about 25 minutes per game, this looks like a matchup Jaquez could make a difference in off the bench. While this game should be low-scoring compared to the others on the slate, Jaime will have rebounding and playmaking opportunities, surrounded by Herro, Rozier, and Miami’s other outside shooters.

While missing on this mark in four of his last five, expect a mini-rivalry game to bring the best out of the UCLA old-school forward.

G Devin Booker (PHO) OVER 28.5 PTS

Since the 2019-20 season, Booker has averaged 27.8 PPG against Milwaukee including their finals matchup that saw the Suns just two wins away from their first title. Remember that Jrue Holiday was matched up against Booker during this span.

With Lillard and Middleton attempting to mark Booker tonight, this has “revenge game” and “shootout” written all over it. After a few rough shooting outings by his standards after those back-to-back-to-back 40-point games, we expect Devin to get back on track and head Phoenix’s scoring tonight.
