Celtics vs Mavericks: 3 Player Props for Game 3

For weeks, I’ve listened as countless pundits have suggested the Boston Celtics could not win the NBA Championship without a healthy Kristaps Porzingis, a center the team acquired last year to complete their roster.
Turns out, those pundits were correct. Porzingis returned to postseason play with a bang, scoring 32 points over the past two games in limited minutes to help Boston build a 2-0 lead over the Dallas Mavericks.
With the series changing locations this week, can the Mavericks slow down the Celtics to get back into the series? Or will Boston quickly finish off their upstart opponents for their 18th title to regain sole possession of the most NBA titles in history? We’ll cover that and our top three player prop bets for Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Wednesday, June 12.
Boston Celtics’ Jayson Tatum UNDER 26.5 Points
Boston has proven its mettle this postseason and is only two games away from
winning their first title in more than 15 years. In the NBA finals, the Celtics
have used a team-first formula that is paying dividends thus far as six players
have scored in double figures over the past two games.
With Boston spreading the love, Celtics forward Jayson Tatum has not had to score every point for his squad. After pouring in 26 points per game this postseason, Tatum has quietly scored 34 combined points in the NBA Finals.
Expect the Celtics to continue spreading their scoring and keep Tatum from covering this player prop bet.
Dallas Mavericks’ Luka Doncic UNDER 51.5 Pts + Reb + Ast
Mavericks guard Luka Doncic did everything possible to will his team to win.
The point guard poured in game highs in points (32), rebounds (11), and assists
in Dallas’ 105-98 loss to Boston Sunday.
It’s hard to imagine him doing more than he did in Game 2. Combined, he poured in 54 total points, rebounds, and assists. To cover this player prop bet, Doncic would need a similar outing Wednesday, and I believe he’ll look to get his teammates involved in the game instead.
Expect him to fall short of covering this player prop bet in Game 3.
Boston Celtics’ Al Horford UNDER 7.5 Rebounds
It’s incredible to see Celtics center Al Horford continue to produce in his
16th NBA season. The 6-foot-9 athlete was called into action throughout the
playoffs in place of Porzingis, logging significant minutes this postseason.
In his first two games, Horford has averaged 29 minutes and seven rebounds each game. To cover this player pop bet, the 38-year-old athlete would have to more rebounds than he has in seven of his past 10 postseason games.
With that in mind, take the under on this player prop bet and reap the rewards.
