NBA Play-In Tournament: 3 Player Props for Wednesday, April 17
Tyler Herro finds his way onto our NBA player props card on Wednesday.

The Play-In Tournament kicked off yesterday, and it certainly provided some fantastic performances, both by individuals and the teams that participated. We put together four player props from last night’s action, but because of a few poor performances, we only hit on one of our four picks.

We’re looking to tonight’s games with a bit more clarity, hoping to hit it big with the upcoming action from the Eastern Conference. Without further adieu, let’s dive into our three favorite player props from tonight’s games, which can all be found on Underdog!

Buddy Hield OVER 7.5 Points

The Philadelphia 76ers take on the Miami Heat in what should be an entertaining matchup tonight. While there is a lot of star power in this matchup between Joel Embiid and Jimmy Butler, we’re taking an unconventional player prop here with Buddy Hield.

Hield has been a great depth piece to the 76ers offense, mainly getting it done as a shooter. We are looking forward to seeing what he can do, and if the 76ers see any struggles from Embiid or Tyrese Maxey early on, Hield could come through for them, easily hitting the over on this low points prop.

Tyler Herro UNDER 20.5 Points

For whatever reason, we don’t have a lot of faith in Tyler Herro tonight. The Heat are likely going to rely on Jimmy Butler to come in clutch down the stretch, likely giving Herro less time and opportunity to score the rock.

Herro might be a solid player as a whole, but we’re fading his over in this spot, especially against a staunch defense with the 76ers.

Dejounte Murray OVER 12 Rebounds & Assists

Dejounte Murray was a beast all season, especially when it came to his rebounding and assist numbers. He was putting up massive assist totals even without Trae Young on the court, an indication that he distributed to many different players on the Atlanta Hawks.

We are under the impression that this will be a hard-fought matchup between the Hawks and the Chicago Bulls, and the Hawks will need every bit of Murray’s assist and rebounding prowess to make it through this game. Don’t overthink this one!
