Top NBA Player Prop Picks for Wednesday, February 28: Will Westbrook Torment His Former Team?

Let's make it a Happy Hump Day by picking some winners in the NBA player props market. We've analyzed the entire board to bring you our 4 favorite picks. A few three-pointer props are catching our eye on Wednesday, including Max Strus to continue his scorching hot play in his hometown of Chicago.

F Scottie Barnes (TOR) OVER 8.0 REB

Scottie Barnes has hit this prop in five of his last six games while finishing in 11 and 12 boards in his last two games against Dallas. The Mavs allow the 2nd-most rebounds per contest, which should help Barnes in the rebounding department.

With Jakob Poetl potentially sitting with an ankle injury in this one, look for Scottie Barnes to continue to stuff the stat sheet in a great matchup. Let's play the Over!

F Vince Williams Jr. (MEM) OVER 22.5 PTS+REB+AST

Someone on the Grizzlies has to score, rebound, and assist. Playing well for a group of players who wouldn’t see much playtime during a “regular” Grizzlies season, Vince Williams has been the one to stick out from the rest.

VWJ has missed this PRA marker in just one game this entire month. With the Wolves playing as one of the tougher teams out West, this is a spot where Vince could play 35+ minutes and if he doesn’t turn the ball over, should easily get enough court time and playmaking opportunities to hit this mark once again.

G Russell Westbrook (LAC) OVER 0.5 3PM

While it sometimes seems too nerve-wracking and daunting to bet on a Russell Westbrook shooting prop, we like him to hit a three tonight against one of his former teams.

Russ has averaged 15.3 PPG in four games against the purple and gold, while hitting 2/3/1/3 three-pointers in each of those contests while shooting 50% from downtown in three of those four outings.

With the Lakers guards due to struggle against Westbrook and the Clippers shifty guards, look for the former MVP to knock one down tonight.

F Max Strus (CLE) OVER 1.5 3PM

Speaking of someone who knocked down a big one last night, let’s bet on Max Strus to continue his hot streak in his hometown of Chicago. Strus has hit five threes in back-to-back outings in Chicago.

He's also scored 10+ points in each of his four outings at United Center. After going 7 of 10 from deep last game including the half-court game-winner, ride Max Sturs to get the job done again.
