NFL Week 10 Pick'em Picks for Underdog

For our Week 10 props, bank on fresh legs coming off their bye weeks to dominate. From young QBs Brock Purdy and C.J. Stroud dominating their plus-matchups, we look to superstar wideouts Ja’Marr Chase and Amon-Ra St. Brown to finish above and beyond their expected yardage total.
QB Brock Purdy (SF) OVER 245.5 PASS YDS
Post bye week, we are buying the San Francisco 49ers and elite game manager Brock Purdy to make a comeback. The 9ers have a highly touted matchup against the Jaguars, who are allowing nearly 270 pass yards per contest.
After playing against three sub-par offensive units in Indy, New Orleans, and Pittsburgh, expect Purdy and San Francisco to move the ball downfield early, especially with all four of their key playmakers trending towards “active” on Sunday.
RB Travis Etienne Jr. (JAX) UNDER 64.5 RUSH YDS
Although this game might see some fireworks, Travis Etienne might be more of a key pass catcher than runner for Jacksonville. The 3rd year halfback hasn’t hit the 65 rush yard marker in two consecutive games this season.
With the 49ers defense adding Chase Young to a unit that allows a league best 37 YPG to RBs, this is a tall task to hit. Travis might be a solid bet to hit his receiving prop, but as for rushing the ball against the 9ers, take the under.
WR Amari Cooper (CLE) UNDER 56.5 REC YDS
Cooper has had a rollercoaster of a season thus far, with three games under 40 yards and three games over the century mark. More of a boom/bust play, Cooper comes into Baltimore with two straight games with 89 yards or more against Seattle and Arizona.
Now, he’ll have to face a Baltimore team that has allowed just nine touchdown drives this season and five takeaways in the past three affairs. There might not be a hotter defense than Baltimore right now and with uncertainty at the Cleveland QB position, line up to take Amari’s under.
QB C.J. Stroud (HOU) OVER 246.5 PASS YDS
The headliner for offensive ROTY, C.J. Stroud’s breakout came last week with a 470 yard, 5 touchdown performance. The Bengals defense has improved throughout this season, but with Stroud hitting this mark more than half the time this season, he’s trending towards becoming matchup-proof.
Regardless of who is ahead in this game, expect Houston to lean on Stroud’s arm opposed to running the ball down Cincy’s throat. C.J. only has two games with 30 or less attempts in his rookie year.
WR Ja’Marr Chase (CIN) OVER 86.5 REC YDS
Chase against the Texans seems to be a matchup made in heaven. Houston allows over 19 receptions and 186 yards per contest to opposing wideouts.
Although DeMeco Ryans has vastly improved this team, the young defense hasn’t faced a better offense this season. After a rough outing against Buffalo, we are banking on the Burrow/Chase connection to make a huge comeback in Week 10.
WR Amon-Ra St. Brown (DET) OVER 85.5 REC YDS
One of the most consistent superstars in 2023, Amon-Ra St. Brown should boost his streak to four straight 100 yard games against the Chargers this Sunday. LAC allows the third-most YPG to wideouts at 269 YPG.
After an easy matchup on Monday night against the Jets, we expect Amon-Ra and Goff to click in all four quarters of this game in what could be another SoFi shootout. Dating back to Week 10 of last season, St. Brown has seven 100-yard games.
