NFL Week 15 Optimal Lineup for FanDuel and DraftKings
Week 15 of the NFL season is officially here, which means another shot at the $1 million top prize in FanDuel Sunday Million and DraftKings Millionaire contests.
Look for Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp to lead the way for your DFS lineup this week while the Rashee Rice train should continue to roll as we get closer to the regular season finish line.
QB Matthew Stafford (LAR)
Stafford’s roll of 10 TDs in the last three games has a great chance to grow this week against one of the worst defensive units in the league. Washington is allowing a league-high 30.4 PPG this season and with Stafford and the Rams’ offense cooking the last few weeks, expect a huge outing for the veteran QB with all of his offensive weapons healthy once again.
RB James Cook (BUF)
Cook has come alive as a pass catcher this past few weeks, increasing his value in DFS play. The 2nd-year RB has hit the 50-yard mark in all but two games this season while catching 14 passes for 2 scores over the last three games. Against a Dallas defense that ranks atop the league stopping the run, look for Allen to utilize Cook as a safety option this week.
RB Tony Pollard (DAL)
Pollard has a positive matchup this week against the Bills, who allow 114 YPG on the ground and 4.7 YPC which ranks in the bottom 5 of the NFL this season. TP has either scored or hit the 100-yard mark in all of his past four games and coming into Week 15, should be looking to get to the 1,000 rush yard mark for the second consecutive season.
WR Cooper Kupp (LAR)
Our key pairing this week is Cooper Kupp with Matt Stafford. While overshadowed by Puka Nacua at times this season, Kupp has a chance to breakout against one of the worst secondaries in the league. While struggling against better secondaries, Kupp has gone for 100 yards in three games against Philly, Arizona, and Baltimore. Now facing the worst defense he has yet this season, look for another 100-yard outing for the veteran wideout.
WR Rashee Rice (KC)
Since Tank Dell can’t be a valuable addition to our DFS lineup, call after Rashee Rice to add value at the WR position. Mahomes’ new favorite target now has six TDs this season and has hit the 9-target mark in each of the last three games. It’s rare that Mahomes’ has a true WR1, but from the looks of it, Rice should become a frequenter in all DFS lineups.
WR Greg Dortch (ARI)
Our flier of the week is Greg Dortch of the Cardinals. Coming off the bye week, he’s played in three consecutive games seeing 69% or more of snaps, while hauling in an incredible sideline catch against Pittsburgh a few weeks ago. With Arizona due to play from behind, Dortch provides huge upside with a small salary at the WR3 position.
TE Tyler Conklin (NYJ)
Conklin has seen 4 or more receptions in four of the past six games, while clicking at times with Zach Wilson this season. The Jets will play from behind against Miami and although the ‘Fins offense has been an issue for opponents, they just allowed 400 yards and 28 points to Will Levis and the Titans last week. Expect Conklin to provide good value for a small salary at a top-heavy position.
FLX Amari Cooper (CLE)
Amari Cooper has found something with Joe Flacco. Last week, Coop saw 14 targets against the Jags, and should see a similar amount of volume against the Bears who have struggled against top receivers at times this season. Also, with Justin Fields scoring points for the Bears, Cleveland will have to put up points to stay in this game, so expect Cooper to continue to be a WR1 option to trust with Flacco at QB even if the downfield long-balls aren’t hitting.
The Saints take on one of the better stories in sports at the moment. However, the DeVito train might come to a halt in New Orleans. The Saints defense is coming off a game with 1 TD, 4 sacks, and 2 FR against the Panthers and with a top 13 defense in most categories under Dennis Allen, look for the Giants to put up less than 20 points this week.
