NFL Week 16 Pick'em Picks for Underdog
As we head into Week 16 of play, look for young RBs James Cook and Jahmyr Gibbs to dominate their matchups as they look to lock in their playoff positioning. Ready to make some money on Christmas Weekend? We got you!
Here are our best NFL Week 16 Pick'em picks for Underdog. Good luck!
RB Jaylen Warren (PIT) OVER 20.5 REC YDS
One of the more consistent running backs this season, Jaylen Warren has found success through the air in his 2nd NFL season, especially with the Steelers’ backup QBs. The last two games, Jaylen has seen nine receptions for a combined 57 yards.
Facing a Cincy defense that just allowed 132 rush yards and 25 receiving yards to Minnesota’s backup RB Ty Chandler, look for Warren to make his impact through the air once again.
RB James Cook (BUF) OVER 15.0 RUSH ATT
Riding the hot hand into Los Angeles, bank on the Bills to take control of this game and run through the Chargers defense with newfound superstar James Cook. Cook has hit this mark in three of the last four outings while hitting the 100-yard marker in each of the last five games.
At this point of the season, as the Bills continue their playoff push, it’s safe to say the offense will run through James against the LA defense allowing 126 YPG on the ground during the last three outings.
RB Jahmyr Gibbs (DET) OVER 73.5 YDS
Another young running back to break out this season, Jahmyr Gibbs has been efficient on little touches. Since the Lions’ bye week, he’s hit this marker in four of six games.
Averaging 5.7 YPC in his rookie season, look for Campbell and Goff to look the playmakers’ way on 3rd downs and in situations where LaPorta and Amon-Ra get doubled downfield. Hitting the 13-touch mark in all but one game since the bye, it’s fair to say Jahmyr is someone to take the “over” on each and every week.
WR Adam Thielen (CAR) OVER 4.5 REC
While Carolina hasn’t found much success this season in virtually any space, Adam Thielen has a good chance to bounce back to his productive self against Green Bay in Week 16.
The GB defense has allowed 300 or more yards in six straight games, and just allowed 34 points to Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Bucs. With Thielen hitting this marker in 9 of 10 games to begin the season, look for his connection with Bryce Young to get back on track this week.
QB Joe Flacco (CLE) OVER 243.5 PASS YDS
Joe Flacco… a comeback player of the year candidate? Who thought we would say this a few months ago? Flacco has thrown for 7 scores in just three games as the Browns’ starting QB and heading into Houston, has hit the 254 pass yard marker in each of those affairs.
With the Houston defense still susceptible to downfield plays, expect Stefanski to pick this defense apart as Njoku, Cooper, Ford, and the Browns’ playmakers return to solid form.
