NFL Week 5 Pick'em Picks for Underdog and PrizePicks

Heading into Week 5 we have a better scope on some of the players we should trust and fade in Underdog props. While Stefon Diggs and A.J. Brown should continue to dominate through the air in positive matchups, bank on Bryce Young to have his first breakout game for the Panthers.
WR Stefon Diggs (BUF) OVER 82.5 REC YDS
Diggs has hit the century mark in all but one game this season and coming off a three-touchdown game against Miami, looks unstoppable. The Allen/Diggs duo faces a Jaguars defense allowing 186 yards to receivers on average, placing them in the bottom half of the league.
While we expect Lawrence and the offense to produce better numbers as the season goes along after a shaky start, we also believe Allen and Diggs will dominate every time the ball is in their hands while the Jags continue to play from behind.
Stefon normally starts seasons off stronger than he finishes them, so bet the “over” in a game that should produce some fireworks.
RB Bijan Robinson (ATL) OVER 78.5 RUSH YDS
After last Sunday’s performance in London, it’s fair to say that Bijan has the keys to this offense. Robinson hit the century mark in rush yards for the 2nd time while participating in 76% of offensive snaps to Allegier’s 26%.
Houston has an improved defense under DeMico Ryans, but still allows over 114 rush yards to RBs per game through four affairs. Expect Robinson to get his 20+ carries which in return, should hit the “over”.
QB Bryce Young (CAR) OVER 206.5 PASS YDS
Young hasn’t hit this mark yet in his shaky start to his Carolina career, but there are high hopes heading into week 5.
The Heisman winner had just seven incompletions on 32 attempts last week and will face a Lions defense allowing over 35 completions and 360 yards per game through the air.
In what will be his first breakout performance, we expect Young to finish this game with a few scores as the Panthers should keep this one close until the final minutes.
WR A.J. Brown (PHI) OVER 79.5 REC YDS
Since getting in his quarterback’s grill a few weeks ago, Brown has turned in back-to-back 100-yard games alongside 2 scores in Sunday’s tight win against Washington.
Heading into Los Angeles without Jalen Ramsey to worry about, expect Brown to continue to dominate as the Eagles WR1.
This game should have a high over/under and with the playmakers on each side including A.J., DeVonta Smith, Swift, and Goedert for Philly and Nacua, Atwell, Williams, and Higbee for the Rams, SoFi fireworks will be in full display for this one which benefits Brown hitting his total.
QB Joshua Dobbs (ARI) OVER 196.5 PASS YDS
The Arizona Cardinals could easily be 3-1 at this point in the season. Gannon has figured something out on the defensive end and Josh Dobbs has proved to be a solid replacement for the injured Kyler Murray.
Last week, Josh put 265 yards and 2 scores up on the San Francisco 49ers defense, one of the top units in the entire league.
With Cincy allowing 220 yards and over 30 attempts per game to QBs, Dobbs should be able to find his playmakers in Conner, Ertz, and Brown down the field against a Bengals defense that doesn’t look as potent as last season.
RB Christian McCaffrey (SF) OVER 89.5 RUSH YDS
It’s simple. If Christian McCaffrey is playing and healthy, bet the over. If he’s not, stay away from the 9ers running back room.
CMC has hit this mark three out of four times this season, while his one miss was in a game where he played just 65% of snaps. While Dallas is one of the best teams defending the run, there are openings as James Conner displayed in Week 3 in the Cardinals upset victory over the Cowboys.
With an elite offensive line and game manager in Purdy, McCaffrey is matchup-proof, which can’t be said about virtually any other player in the league.
