NFL Week 6 DFS Lineup Strategy

Trusting in the Miami offense once again, the trio of Tua, Mostert, and Waddle head our Week 6 DFS Lineup while sleepers Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Rondale Moore are cheap options to round out your squad on DraftKings.
QB Tua Tagovailoa (MIA) Salary: $7,600
Tua has been near-perfect all season and despite throwing two picks last week against the Giants, we still love him as our QB for Week 6.
Stacking Tua with one or both of the ‘Fins receivers is the play of the week, as this Miami offense should be too much to handle for the Panthers defense.
Tua has thrown for 11 touchdowns (T-2nd) and 1,614 yards (1st) in just five appearances.
RB Tony Pollard (DAL) Salary: $7,600
After facing two tough defenses in New England and San Francisco, Tony Pollard finally gets a plus matchup with the Los Angeles Chargers.
LA allows 99 yards per game to running backs and with added value as a receiver, Pollard becomes a top play once again. Every time Tony had an “off” game last season, he bounced back with a solid performance.
Via DraftKings, the Chargers are the 25th best defense against RBs. Plus matchup, a guaranteed 15-20 touches, and in a game that should end up in the 50s total-wise, run with TP as your RB1 this week.
RB Raheem Mostert (MIA) Salary: $6,400
With De’von Achane out, Raheem Mostert becomes a must-start against the Carolina Panthers who are sitting as the 2nd-worst team against RBs in DraftKings.
Mostert has only had one off week in which he played just 43% of snaps. Against Carolina, expect a 50% or more snap share while he commands some receiving work similar to earlier in the season as Miami would go up a few scores against lesser opponents.
Raheem is a high-ceiling, high-floor play as your RB2.
WR Jaylen Waddle (MIA) Salary: $7,600
Sticking with the Dolphins' potent offense, Jaylen Waddle is our WR1 for Week 6. His “breakout” 2023 game came last week which resulted in a season-high 10 targets and a score.
Finally fully healthy it seems, expect Waddle to get back to his old ways of dominating with yardage after the catch in Mike McDaniel’s offense.
With Achane out, Waddle should see more targets and action his way.
WR DJ Moore (CHI) Salary: $6,500
The hottest player in the league at the moment might be DJ Moore. The newly acquired wideout has connected with Fields, going for five touchdowns in the past three games.
Better yet, Minnesota allows points and yards to wideouts. Their defense allows the fourth most yards, fourth-most TDs per game, and ranks as the 2nd-worst unit to WRs.
Similar to Pollard, the volume and matchup is here with DJ Moore. Don’t overthink the hot hand.
WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba (SEA) Salary: $3,600
Moving to a player that is ice cold, Jaxon Smith-Njigba has the talent of a receiver worth over $5,000 on DraftKings but is listed at $3,600. Choosing talent over a cold streak here, JSN is too good to pass on at this salary.
The bad? Njigba is averaging just 3.1 YPT this season and just 4.6 FPPG on DraftKings. The good? Well, he’s the 3rd option in a potent offense and still plays in about 50-55% of the snaps week in and week out.
In what could become a high-scoring game rather quickly, we love this week as Smith-Njigba’s breakout.
TE Jonnu Smith (ATL) Salary: $3,400
Another obscure name on the market, Jonnu Smith has found his rhythm in Atlanta. Smith is nearly inside the top 12 in PPR formats among tight ends and has received six or more targets in the past four games.
Washington’s defense has limited tight-end production, but with Pitts and London blanketed all season and moving forward, Smith becomes a solid option in deeper leagues and in DFS lineups moving on.
FLX Rondale Moore (ARI) Salary: $3,500
Our huge sleeper this week to round out our lineup is Rondale Moore of the Arizona Cardinals. Gannon loves him, the team is down Conner, and he’s finally being utilized in the correct way after Kingsbury’s long overdue departure.
With added value as a runner this week, he’s got the speed and unpredictability to break off a big run or catch that ends up making your week.
Expecting to play in about 70% of snaps, Arizona has a chance to keep this one close and if so, Rondale Moore should be a big part of it. Last season, he went for 94 yards on 9 catches in Week 10 against LA.
D/ST Bills Salary: $3,700
The Bills are in win-now mode as they see the Dolphins heading the AFC East with an iron fist. After dropping a game to Jacksonville, we expect this defense to torch the Giants, who should continue to struggle on Sunday night in an away matchup.
The Giants are the best possible matchup for opposing defenses on DraftKings and allow a solid four sacks per game.
The Bills could turn this lineup into a massive money-maker as Danny Dimes will continue to struggle in primetime.
