3 NFL Player Props for Sunday, September 15
Sam LaPorta is part of our player props card for Sunday, September 15.

Hello, everyone! We hope you’re having a great week to this point, and that you’re excited for another weekend of NFL action. The Thursday Night Football game left something to be desired, as it was the Buffalo Bills’ game from the jump.

Unfortunately, Tua Tagovailoa had an off night, which was capped off by an unfortunate head injury. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Tagovailoa, who has a history of this type of injury. We don’t know much about his situation to this point, but we’re certainly hoping for the best.

There are a lot of games to look forward to as we turn to this Sunday’s slate of action. Will quarterbacks throw for more yards than they did last weekend? Or, will an uptick in two-high safeties continue to make it difficult for them to have massive games? We’ll soon see. For now, let’s get into our favorite player props, which are all found on Underdog. Let’s get into it!

Aaron Jones UNDER 49.5 Rushing Yards

Aaron Jones had an unbelievable debut for the Minnesota Vikings last week, popping for 94 yards on the ground, and adding another 15 yards through the air. It’s evident that he’s going to be a major part of this team’s success moving forward, a fantastic addition to the Vikings.

While we project Jones to have a great season, he could get stymied by the San Francisco 49ers’ stellar defense. They have one of the best units in the league, and it’s hard for us to believe that Jones will have a big week against them.

The pesky 49ers only allowed 54 yards to Breece Hall last week, taking him 16 attempts to achieve that number. With that in mind, we’re fading Jones, at least this week.

Sam LaPorta OVER 5 Receptions

If you play fantasy football, you were likely pretty upset with your tight end last week. Nearly all of the top tight ends scored less than 10 points, with many of them finishing the week with less than five points.

Sam LaPorta was one of those frustrating players, as he ended Week 1 with just four catches for 45 yards. This might be a decent stat line for subpar tight ends, but LaPorta isn’t like everyone else. He showcased how dominant he was last season, and we believe Week 1 was an exception to the rule, not the rule itself.

With that in mind, we project a massive bounceback for LaPorta this week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This is a rematch of the divisional round from last season, and we’re excited to see what LaPorta can do in this game to dominate the Bucs.

Romeo Doubs OVER 26.5 Receiving Yards

Yeah, we’re buying into the Romeo Doubs discount, especially given the hype that’s surrounded him over the past few days. He and Malik Willis have reportedly developed a quick relationship, one that should rear its head in this game against the Indianapolis Colts.

Doubs didn’t look great in Brazil, but let’s be honest, nobody had a great game overseas due to the atrocious field conditions. We’re confidently taking the over on this line and would do so even if it was set at 39.5. Take Doubs with pride this week!
