Bucs at Falcons: 3 Player Props for Thursday Night Football
How will Drake London do against the Bucs on Thursday?

Thursday Night Football is upon us once again, which means that we’ve got some Underdog player props to go over! Week 4’s iteration of TNF was an interesting game between the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants, a game that many people wouldn’t mind forgetting.

The Cowboys pulled it out, and we ended up going 2-1 on our picks on the night, which was not too shabby! Taking the under on CeeDee Lamb’s rushing and receiving total was risky, and it didn’t pan out.

We’re looking to tonight’s matchup with clear eyes after losing one pick last week, hoping to turn things around in a big way! The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Atlanta Falcons face off in what should be a great NFC South battle. Let’s take a look at our favorite props from what should be an electric game!

Baker Mayfield OVER 10.5 Rushing Yards

Is Baker Mayfield the next Lamar Jackson? Of course not. But, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB has been on the run a lot this season, rushing for 10+ yards in three of four games this season. It’s obvious that Baker is confident in this offense and believes that his offensive line will come through for him when necessary. He’s throwing the ball better than he has in years past, which has opened more running lanes for him. The Falcons are certainly a tough defensive test, but we believe Mayfield will do whatever it takes to bring down his divisional rival, which includes rushing for at least 11 yards.

Drake London OVER 5.5 Receptions

This might feel like a trap, considering Drake London has logged six catches in each of his past three games, but we’re riding with the former first-round pick. London is the clear favorite pass-catcher for Kirk Cousins, leading the team with 32% of targets. The next closest in targets is Darnell Mooney, who receives 25% of targets. These two combine for over half of Cousins’ targets, and we expect big games from both of them. Look for London to have at least six catches tonight, doing everything possible to keep the Falcons in this game. We wouldn’t be surprised if he had eight or even ten receptions tonight, but we’ll play it safe by hammering this line at 5.5.

Darnell Mooney OVER 46.5 Receiving Yards

As we mentioned earlier, the combination of London and Darnell Mooney has been lethal for the Falcons this season. Cousins truly loves throwing to both of them, and they’ve certainly benefitted from an increase in target share. Mooney has had 56+ yards in each of his past three games, and while past success isn’t necessarily indicative of future results, we’re riding with him until he proves us wrong.
