The Washington Commanders (14-5) are wreaking havoc on the NFC playoffs, having pulled back-to-back road upsets to reach the NFC Championship game. To continue their historic season, they’ll have to beat their familiar NFC East foe as the Philadelphia Eagles (16-3) will host this year’s championship game.

Washington is on a seven-game winning streak, having earned retribution against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before dealing a surprising beat-down of the Detroit Lions. Rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels has been on fire during this span, leading the team in rushing and passing yards in four of the past seven games.

Philadelphia has been on a similar tear, winning 14 of the team’s last 15 outings. Their lone loss was to the Commanders in a road game during mid-December, a contest where quarterback Jalen Hurts suffered a first-quarter concussion.

Will Hurts lead the Eagles to a second Super Bowl under his watch, or can Daniels take Washington to the ultimate game for the first time since 1992? We’ll cover that and our three best player prop bets for the NFC Championship game.

Washington Commanders QB Jayden Daniels OVER 222.5 Passing Yards

Washington quarterback Jayden Daniels has put together one of the strongest rookie campaigns in recent memory. He finished the 2024 season with 3,568 passing yards, 25 touchdowns, and nine interceptions. Daniels also finished his debut season leading the team in rushing, finishing with 891 rushing yards on 148 carries and six more scores.

Perhaps his best game of the season came against Philadelphia in the team’s rematch in Northwest Stadium. In that contest, he finished with 258 passing yards, throwing five touchdown passes in his team’s 36-33 victory. There’s little reason to believe he’ll slow down in this contest, and bettors should expect him to cover this player prop bet.

Philadelphia Eagles RB Saquon Barkley OVER 125.5 Rushing Yards

Philadelphia running back Saquon Barkley joined an exclusive club this year, becoming only the ninth player to achieve at least 2,000 rushing yards in a single season. He finished the 2024 NFL campaign with 2,005 yards on 345 carries, skipping the final contest to rest for the playoffs. He also caught 33 passes for 278 yards, adding two more scores through the air.

Against Washington, the Eagles were able to establish their running game in both contests. Barkley finished with at least 146 rushing yards in these two games, scoring twice for Philadelphia in the process. There’s little reason to believe he’ll be slowed down on Sunday, giving bettors confidence to take the over on this player prop bet.

Washington Commanders WR Terry McLaurin OVER 64.5 Receiving Yards

Daniels’ top target in 2024 was veteran wide receiver Terry McLaurin. The 29-year-old finished 1,096 yards on 82 receptions, adding 13 touchdowns on the season. It’s the fifth year in a row the former 2019 third-round draft pick has topped the 1,000-yard mark.

He’s continued his hot streak into the playoffs this month. Through two games, he’s caught 11 passes for 176 yards, finishing both games with at least 87 receiving yards. The only concern about this contest is that he did not top the 60-yard mark in either game against Philadelphia, but bettors should expect that trend to reverse on Sunday.
