Dallas at Los Angeles: Best Pick'em Picks for Underdog

Post bye week, the 2-2 Chargers host the 3-2 Cowboys, who are coming off a tough loss to San Francisco. While banking on this game becoming a duel between Herbert and the Cowboys' methodical offense, bet on the Charger wideouts to make a difference while taking a Dallas tight end to score with Underdog’s boosted bet

RB Tony Pollard (DAL) OVER 66.5 RUSH YDS

With the Chargers allowing nearly 100 yards per game to running backs on the ground, Pollard behind this Cowboys offensive line should reach this 67-yard mark with ease.

After a great start to the season, TP struggled against San Francisco and New England’s defensive line. Also, no one runs it too well against these squads so we aren’t too concerned here.

Keep an eye on the injury report Monday afternoon but if Pollard is a go, take him to hit 67 rush yards for the 4th time this season.

QB Justin Herbert (LAC) OVER 281.5 PASS YDS

Minus Trevon Diggs, the Cowboys defense has some holes and after a bye week game planning with former Cowboys OC Kellen Moore, Justin Herbert will be taking a handful of deep shots in this one.

With Quentin Johnston, Keenan Allen, and Josh Palmer as his trio moving forward, there seem to be matchup nightmares all over the field for LA.

Moore should exploit that against his former team as he looks for revenge using one of the strongest arms in the league.

WR Josh Palmer (LAC) OVER 0.5 TDS (1.5x)

Our Chargers boosted bet is Josh Palmer to score. The 3rd-year wideout has been thrown to 15 times in the past two games and with Mike Williams out of the lineup, is now the 2nd option outside.

With Stephon Gilmore shadowing Allen for a portion of the game, we can expect Palmer to become a focal point for Herbert and Moore as a downfield playmaker and red zone target.

RB Austin Ekeler (LAC) UNDER 50.5 RUSH YDS

The Chargers are going to throw the ball 40+ times in this game in our eyes, so Ekeler’s value lies in the receiving numbers rather than on the ground.

Against better opponents, Austin tends to become more of a receiving back as the Chargers are either playing from down or in a close matchup.

Coming off injury a few weeks ago, expect Joshua Kelley to get some ground work as Ekeler remains the lead catching back in this Monday night duel.

TE Jake Ferguson (DAL) OVER 0.5 TDS (1.75x)

Jake Ferguson’s boosted TD bet is a solid play this Monday. The 2nd-year TE has played in 70% of snaps three times thus far while sitting inside the top 15 TE rankings in most fantasy formats.

The Chargers allow about 6 catches and over 50 yards to the tight end position which ranks in the lower half of the league.

With Lamb and Pollard as the two main attractions in the red zone for this Chargers defense, this is Ferguson’s time to score his 2nd TD of the young season.
