Lions at 49ers: 4 Player Props for Monday Night Football
Jameson Williams is part of our player props card for Monday Night Football.

The Detroit Lions look to maintain control over the 1st round NFC bye, while San Francisco and Brock Purdy will try to finish the season on a high note against an NFC rival.

WR Jameson Williams (DET) OVER 0.5 TD

With the Lions in need of a victory this Monday night to stay on top of the race for the NFC’s 1st round bye, Jameson Williams will need to have another big game in order to keep Detroit alive for next week’s marquee matchup against Minnesota.

Williams has scored twice over the last two weeks and if you rewind it back to last year’s NFC Championship game in San Francisco, the speedy wideout scored twice against this 9ers defense. Williams is hot and I’d expect offensive coordinator Ben Johnson to go his way in the red zone a handful of times through the air and on the ground.

WR Jauan Jennings (SF) OVER 7.5 Targets

San Francisco is eliminated from the postseason, but as we saw in Week 16 and Week 17 play, that doesn’t mean these teams won’t try to play spoiler. The 9ers have been utilizing Jauan Jennings heavily this season. So much so, that he might finish the season with 100+ targets for the first time in his career.

Against a Detroit secondary that is allowing the most yards per contest against wideouts this season, Jennings is in a perfect spot to put up a massive game. With the game script most likely against them, I could see Purdy going Jauan’s way early and often at home, where he averages almost 7.2 TPG.

RB Craig Reynolds (DET) OVER 0.5 TD

Keeping this as a straight bet, we are going to ride with the Craig Reynolds anytime touchdown for one more week. With David Montgomery sidelined and Jahmyr Gibbs carrying the ball 23 times last Sunday, Reynolds should get a slight uptick in usage this game.

He had a few opportunities last game, but it was a bit too little, too late for the veteran back. At +400, this is a bet that has a ton of potential as the RB2 will normally get around 10 touches at this point in the season for Ben Johnson’s Lions.

QB Brock Purdy (SF) OVER 51.5 1Q Pass Yards

With the Lions secondary inside the bottom five in yards allowed, it wouldn’t be shocking if Brock Purdy gets off to a hot start in this game. Averaging 62 yards through the air in the 1st quarter this season, Purdy is getting back on track after a great showing against Miami.

Barring a late interception, I believe we will see Brock and San Francisco finish the season on a high note, especially in the passing attack. The 1st quarter has also been Purdy’s highest passer rating quarter at 101.8. With the hope San Francisco gets the ball first, this is the bet of the night in the Bay Area.
