NFL Wildcard Player Prop Picks for Sunday, January 14: Jump On Some Overs!

While three rookie receivers should hit their “over” total this Sunday, don’t expect James Cook to produce against a tough Tomlin-led Steelers defense in the playoffs. Get the rest of our NFL player prop picks for Sunday, January 14 below. Good luck, folks!

RB Jaylen Warren (PIT) OVER 3.0 REC

All season long, Warren has proved to be Pittsburgh’s premier receiver out of the backfield with 61 catches to Najee’s 29 receptions. In Rudolph’s three starts with the Steelers this season, Warren has caught the ball 14 times while playing in about 50% of the snaps each outing.

Against one of the better backline defenses in football as of late in Buffalo, look for 1st half check downs to Warren as Pittsburgh eases into this game.

RB James Cook (BUF) UNDER 87.5 YDS

Let’s face it. Although Buffalo has a new offensive coordinator and Cook has had his best season as a pro, he only had a two-game stretch that wowed us. Since then, he’s become a check-down guy while averaging just 3 YPC on the ground.

Facing a Steeler defense that has allowed 84 YPG on the ground during their last three outings, look for James to be bottled up once again.

TE Dalton Kincaid (BUF) OVER 33.5 REC YDS

Kincaid has become a focal point of this Bills offense from Week 7 on. Although only scoring 2 times this season, Dalton has hit the 34-yard mark in 8 of the last 11 outings.

While Dawson Knox continues to be a red zone threat that might take a few snaps away from the rookie tight end, Josh Allen’s second option should be able to find holes within the Steelers’ defense to hit this marker.

WR Jayden Reed (GB) OVER 48.5 REC YDS

One of the best surprises for the Packers’ offense in 2023 was rookie Jayden Reed. Reed logged his first 100-yard game in Week 18, and scored 10 TDs this season for Green Bay while becoming Love’s favorite target down the stretch in must-win games.

With Jayden hitting this mark in his last three outings and the Packers most likely playing from behind in this one, look for Reed to dominate the target share and find openings in this Dallas secondary.

WR Puka Nacua (LAR) OVER 76.5 REC YDS

It’s rookie galore on Sunday as Puka Nacua rounds out our Underdog prop slate. Sean McVay is simply too good of a coach to let Nacua go un-used in the Rams’ potential away win against the Lions in what should be the best matchup of Wild Card weekend.

Nacua hit this marker in 8 of 17 games in his rookie campaign while commanding ten or more targets in six of those games. Against a Lions’ defense that has allowed a league-worst 352 yards passing per game over their last three, look for Puka to dominate at Ford Field this Sunday.
