Patriots at Jets: 3 Player Props for Thursday Night Football
Breece Hall is part of our player props card for Thursday Night Football.

Happy Thursday, football fans! Can you believe tonight is already the third Thursday Night Football game of the season? After months of waiting for the season to come back, the year is flying by far too quickly.

Tonight’s iteration of Thursday Night Football is an intriguing game between the New York Jets and the New England Patriots. Both teams are 1-1 heading into this matchup, and both are known for their prolific defenses. Jacoby Brissett hasn’t exactly been an explosive QB for the Patriots so far, and Aaron Rodgers isn’t back to MVP form yet.

Will one of them lead a strong offensive charge? We’re not sure, but we’re excited to find out. We’ve taken a deep dive into Underdog’s player prop lines for the contest and broken down our favorites below. We went 1-2 in last week’s TNF game, but we’ll chalk that one up to an unfortunate injury to Tua Tagovailoa. Let’s get back at the books and sweep the board tonight!

Breece Hall UNDER 98.5 Rush & Receiving Yards

Don’t get me wrong, Breece Hall is a fantastic back. He had over 100 all-purpose yards last week against the Tennesee Titans and had 93 against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 1.

However, the Patriots have a tricky defense, one that might prove difficult for him to have a massive game. They haven’t allowed a running back more than 44 rushing yards this season, and while Hall is better than the backs they’ve faced, we’re going to have to see it to believe it.

We’re fading his total yardage prop today, as achieving 100 yards of offense should be tough against the Pats.

Rhamondre Stevenson OVER 66.5 Rushing Yards

Rhamondre Stevenson is looking like a BEAST to start the year. He rushed for 120 yards in the season opener against the Cincinnati Bengals, and another 81 against the Seattle Seahawks last week.

He’s a force to be reckoned with, one of the most important pieces of the Patriots’ offense. With that in mind, look for Stevenson to put up at least 67 yards against the Jets, who just got torched by Jordan Mason. Stevenson has far more experience than Mason, and he should have a field day in this one.

Aaron Rodgers OVER 214.5 Passing Yards

It seems like everyone in the industry is fading Aaron Rodgers tonight. He hasn’t reached the 200-yard threshold in a game this season, and many believe he’s going to continue that trend.

However, you can’t hold down a former MVP forever, and we expect him to have a bounce back performance tonight. Look for Rodgers to come out of his shell and have his first breakout game on the Jets, resulting in him going over his passing yardage prop.
