These players dominated the NFL DFS landscape in week 3 with the most fantasy points. Are they available in your league?

Week 3 of the NFL 2024 season was packed with jaw-dropping performances. You could spend the rest of the week just watching the highlight reels. On top of that, several players delivered monster fantasy points.
From unexpected breakouts to familiar names returning to their former greatness, fantasy managers were either ecstatic or devastated depending on whether they had these stars in their lineups.
These 5 guys not only dominated the stat sheet but also carried their fantasy teams to victory.
Jauan Jennings (46.50 Fantasy Points)
Jauan Jennings, the San Francisco 49ers wide receiver, had the game of his career in Week 3 against the LA Rams.
With the 49ers missing several of their best players on offense, Jennings stepped up in a huge way. He caught 11 of his 12 targets for a whopping 175 yards and three touchdowns in a narrow 27-24 loss to the Rams. One man can only do so much.
Jennings came out of nowhere to put up one of the best performances of the week in all of the NFL.
He was a key target for QB Brock Purdy, who leaned heavily on him due to injuries to top options like Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk.
Jennings' 175-yard outing was punctuated by big-play touchdowns, making him an instant fantasy hero.
Can he do it again in week 4? Keep an eye on the injury report because once Samuel, Aiyuk, and McCaffrey get back into the lineup his targets might be limited.
- Fantasy Impact. Jennings' massive performance made him one of the top wide receivers in Week 3. His three touchdowns alone gave him a tremendous boost in fantasy leagues. Fantasy managers who picked him up or started him were pleasantly surprised. He’s now a must-add for those needing wide receiver depth as he’s likely to remain heavily involved while the 49ers' receiving corps is depleted.
Saquon Barkley (33.60 Fantasy Points)
Saquon Barkley returned to vintage form in Week 3. He reminded everyone why he's considered one of the best running backs in the league. His numbers back that up.
Barkley rushed for 147 yards on 17 carries and added two big TDs in the Eagles' 15-12 win over the New Orleans Saints. He also caught all four of his targets, though they only amounted to nine yards, and contributed a two-point conversion that proved to be a deciding factor in securing the win.
Barkley's game was defined by a jaw-dropping 65-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.
We all love seeing these breakaway rushes. It was a display of the kind of explosive speed and agility that made Barkley a fantasy star in years past.
His second touchdown, a four-yard plunge, came in the final moments of the game. It was followed by a successful two-point conversion that gave the Eagles a slim lead they never relinquished.
- Fantasy Impact. Barkley’s 147 rushing yards and two touchdowns, combined with the two-point conversion, made him one of the top-scoring RBs of Week 3. He’s becoming a regular in our top 5, if you’re able to trade for him, he isn’t going to slow down anytime soon.
Kyren Williams (31.60 Fantasy Points)
Kyren Williams had an absolutely stellar day in the Rams' 27-24 upset victory over the 49ers.
He rushed for 89 yards on 24 carries. But what really stood out were his three total touchdowns — two on the ground and one through the air. That’s some serious FP! Williams also added 27 receiving yards on two catches, making his fantasy owners smile from ear to ear.
Williams dominated the backfield for the Rams. His two rushing touchdowns were the third and fourth of the season for him, and his receiving touchdown added icing to the cake.
With the Rams lacking offensive firepower elsewhere, Williams is clearly their go-to guy for the foreseeable future.
- Fantasy Impact. Kyren Williams was a touchdown machine in Week 3, and his three scores made him one of the top running backs in fantasy for the week. His dominance in both the rushing and receiving game makes him a reliable fantasy option moving forward, especially with the Rams heavily relying on him. The more targets he has, the better he gets. Trade for him ASAP.
Josh Allen (30.92 Fantasy Points)
Josh Allen had an electric performance on Monday Night Football and is proving to be an absolute fantasy point machine. He threw for four touchdowns in the first half alone as the Buffalo Bills routed the Jacksonville Jaguars 47-10.
Allen completed 23 of 30 passes for 263 yards and spread the ball around to multiple receivers. He also chipped in with 44 rushing yards on six attempts, padding his already strong fantasy output.
Allen’s touchdowns came in rapid succession — a six-yard pass to Dalton Kincaid in the first quarter, followed by three more in the second quarter to Keon Coleman, Khalil Shakir, and Ty Johnson. By halftime, the Bills had built a commanding 34-3 lead, allowing Allen to rest for much of the second half and attack via the ground.
- Fantasy Impact. Josh Allen’s four-touchdown performance made him the top QB in fantasy leagues for Week 3. His ability to rack up points in a single half of football just goes to show his elite status in fantasy. Managers who rostered Allen enjoyed a massive point haul, and he continues to be a top-tier QB option.
Derrick Henry (30.40 Fantasy Points)
Derrick Henry had a vintage "King Henry" game against the Dallas Cowboys. He rushed for 151 yards on 25 carries and scored two touchdowns.
Henry had been relatively quiet through the first two weeks of the season, but he exploded in Week 3, reminding everyone of his punishing running style. If he was on your lineup, you surely noticed him.
He dominated the Cowboys defense with two rushes over 20 yards. One included a 26-yard touchdown where he broke multiple tackles. Henry’s second touchdown was equally impressive, and he added a 23-yard reception, showing that he can contribute in the passing game as well.
- Fantasy Impact. Henry’s 151-yard, two-touchdown performance was a major boost for fantasy managers who had been waiting for him to break out. His ability to churn out yards and break long runs makes him a constant threat, and Week 3 showed that he’s still capable of putting up big numbers. We think he’s going to keep this up. He’s still got it.
