Top Player Prop Picks for Super Bowl 58: Make Sure Deebo is on Your Card!

Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs will rely on his golden arm all Sunday long to propel them to their third Super Bowl title to continue the “dynasty”, while Purdy should rely on McCaffrey to move the chains through the air early on in this matchup of the two most complete teams in the National Football League.

Need help with your picks for Super Bowl 58? Check out our top player props below. Enjoy the game and good luck!

QB Patrick Mahomes (KC) OVER 25.5 COMP

This is a legacy game for Reid, Kelce, and Patrick Mahomes. The potential 3rd Super Bowl victory in Patrick’s career will ride or die on his incredible arm that has propelled them here in the first place.

Pat has hit this mark twice in 3 SB appearances and once this postseason against Baltimore last game. While San Francisco’s defense will be easier to pick apart compared to the Ravens’, expect some short checkdowns to Pacheco, CEH, and Rice to keep this defense on their toes so Mahomes can air it out later in the game to put San Francisco away once again.

RB Christian McCaffrey (SF) OVER 5.0 REC

Similar to the Chiefs' strategy, we expect the 49ers’ offense to ride or die with CMC through the air and on the ground. Even with a poor performance for his standards last week, the best running back in the NFL totaled 100 yards and scored twice to lead his squad back to the Super Bowl.

McCaffrey has hit the 5 reception total in three of his last five while seeing 17 targets this postseason. Not only will he be Purdy’s favorite option on Super Bowl Sunday, but should be able to break a few tackles in the secondary to pick up some big 3rd downs for the 9ers.

Look for about half of Brock Purdy’s rush attempts last week to become CMC targets to hit this over.

WR Rashee Rice (KC) OVER 65.5 REC YDS

If this season has proven anything to prop bettors, you can trust rookie wideouts to become superstars in big games and moments. Rashee Rice has stood out as the Robin to Kelce’s Batman with 20 catches for 223 yards and a score this postseason.

Not to mention his finish to the regular season, in which he totaled 5 or more catches for 57 or more yards in six straight outings. Not only will Rashee be a featured target on 3rd downs with Kelce getting added attention from the 49ers’, but a viable red zone target where he finished 7th among all wideouts this season with 22 targets inside the 20-yard-line.

WR Deebo Samuel (SF) UNDER 15.5 RUSH YDS

We don’t think Steve Spagnuolo and the Chiefs’ defense get fooled with any end-arounds or jet sweeps to Deebo this game. While a short run inside the red zone is a possibility, Kansas City’s scheme will limit any big plays on the ground from anyone outside of the explosive McCaffrey.

Their defense allowed 16 or more rush yards to wide receivers once this season (Week 18 vs LAC). Samuel will play a big role in this game but only in the passing game.

WR Deebo Samuel (SF) OVER 6.5 TARGETS

While we have Deebo’s rushing “under”, he should be a top-targeted 9er on Sunday. Targeted 9 times in their Super Bowl loss to Kansas City a few seasons back, look for Purdy to hit Samuel for checkdowns early in the game to try to move the sticks with his elite YAC ability.

With Kansas City rarely allowing any big plays behind them, look for Deebo who averaged 6.88 targets in the final eight games of the regular season to hit this total in the biggest game of his career thus far.
