Philadelphia at Kansas City: Best Pick'em Picks for Underdog

Look for the Kelce/Swift duo to make a Monday night bounceback as the Chiefs take on the Eagles in a Super Bowl rematch. While D’Andre Swift’s touch count might take a hit, trust in A.J. Brown and Rashee Rice to continue their solid 2023 campaigns.
QB Jalen Hurts (PHI) OVER 236.5 PASS YDS
Hitting this over six times thus far, it’s quite a low number for Jalen, who will have to use his arm strength and improved downfield vision to defeat Mahomes and the Chiefs.
While Kansas City’s passing defense has been one of the best this season, they’ve been better at home rather than away.
In a Super Bowl rematch, expect Jalen to play with a chip on his shoulder as the game plan should be to throw short gains to Brown & Smith before hitting a big play downfield.
RB D’Andre Swift (PHI) UNDER 13.5 RUSH ATT
While Swift has been a positive pickup for the Eagles, he has struggled the past four games, only obtaining a 4.0 YPC mark in one of those contests.
With Philly starting the season 8-1, expect management to start to conserve their key playmaker down the stretch of the season.
Playing a tough KC rush defense, we might see Gainwell and Hurts more involved in the rush game in this one.
WR A.J. Brown (PHI) OVER 6.5 REC
With Dallas Goedert still out, look to A.J. Brown to be the main beneficiary as Hurts’s top option on Monday Night Football. Since Brown was visibly upset with his week 2 production, he’s gone for 7 or more catches in all but one game since.
Brown has hit the century mark in yards in all but one game since as well. A.J. is one of the top playmakers in our game and in Philly’s marque matchup, he will be the target that Hurts goes to in key moments in the red zone and on 3rd downs.
WR Rashee Rice (KC) OVER 42.5 REC YDS
The Chiefs standout rookie wide receiver has turned heads thus far, scoring 4 TDs and catching 19 passes in the past five weeks. Becoming Mahomes’ top option in the red zone outside of Kelce is a key proponent of this prop bet.
With Rashee slowly emerging as a starting wideout (68% of snaps in week 10), trust in Rice to hit this mark as Mahomes searches for a trustworthy option opposite Kelce.
TE Travis Kelce (KC) OVER 0.5 TDS
Moving to Travis Kelce, we should never bet against the top TE in the league on primetime. While the now “Swiftie” is on pace for the least TDs in a season since 2019, the Eagles are allowing a 23rd-worst 2.0 TDs per game in the red zone.
In what could be a shootout as well, hop back on the Kelce train this week.
