They have some big names behind them, and they’re growing faster than any other DFS app, but are they worth the hype? Is Betr Picks one of the better platforms? We’re setting out to determine if they’re worth their salt.

The Betr Experience is Better Than Most

The Betr Picks app is well-designed, emphasizing ease of use and a clean interface. It’s very smooth, and that’s apparent the second you log into the app.

Navigating through the app is also intuitive, with clear instructions guiding you at every step, from making deposits to selecting your picks. It’s most likely intuitive because the app’s design is minimalistic. This is a double-edged sword. On the one hand, it makes the platform easy to navigate; on the other, it may feel somewhat sparse compared to more feature-rich competitors like DraftKings or FanDuel.

The best feature of the Betr app is its no-nonsense approach. Every projection includes a 0.5 hook, which eliminates the possibility of a push (tie). You either win or you lose.  On top of that, the injury and pick protection features show that Betr understands the frustrations of unforeseen circumstances in DFS. It happens, and it really hurts when a player you pick ends up sitting on the bench.

These small yet thoughtful touches enhance the overall user experience.

The biggest downside to Betr is that they do not have a web-based option. You can’t play in the contests from your desktop or even from your phone’s browser. You’re required to download the app to make your picks.

That’s not the end of the world, but it’s a major consideration for some players.

There are around 200 articles to help you with everything from payments, to managing your account and even the promos.

However, the absence of a phone support option might be a drawback for those who prefer more direct communication.

In terms of support quality, Betr’s representatives are knowledgeable and polite, which is always a plus. They are equipped to handle just about everything, from technical issues with the app to more complex questions about gameplay and bonus terms. 

All in all, we’re looking at Betr’s customer support being more of the “middle of the road.” It’s not great, but it does the job.
