Top 5 Fantasy Point Winners in Week 12 of the NFL 2024 Season

Week 12 brought some intense action across the league, and as we expected, a few players stood out and racked up tons of fantasy points for their fantasy managers. Did you have any of these players in your DFS lineup? If you did, you scored big.

Whether it was record-breaking runs or clutch throws, these 5 players delivered in a big way and absolutely dominated in the league. Let’s break down who exploded on the fantasy scene this week.

Player Pass Yds Pass TD Rush Yds Rush TD Receptions Rec. Yds Rec. TD FP
Saquon Barkley - - 255 2 4 47 - 46.20
Jayden Daniels 275 2 74 1 - - - 30.40
Jordan Addison - - - - - 162 1 30.20
Courtland Sutton - - - - 8 97 2 29.70
Patrick Mahomes 269 3 60 - - - - 28.76

Saquon Barkley (46.20 Fantasy Points)

At this point, are you surprised? Massive points and a high salary. He’s an MVP candidate.

Saquon Barkley is no stranger to big performances, but this week felt like something special. The Eagles’ RB1 put on a clinic against the Rams. He rushed for a mind-blowing 255 yards and scored 2 TDs. What made this game even more historic were his 2 runs of over 70 yards. This puts him in elite company as one of just 6 players in NFL history to achieve this in a single game.

For fantasy owners, Barkley’s output was pure gold. No, it was more like platinum.

His 47 receiving yards on top of the rushing explosion further added to his already ridiculous total. If you shelled out his massive salary and had him in your lineup, you probably didn’t have to sweat the rest of your matchup. That’s enough FP to get you in the winning spots in most leagues.

Barkley’s fantasy production has been consistently stellar this season, and if he stays healthy, which it’s looking like he will be, he’s locked in as a league-winner for fantasy playoffs. Bite the big salary and cash in at the end of the week.

Jayden Daniels (30.40 Fantasy Points)

The Commanders’ rookie quarterback is showing why he belongs.

Against Dallas, Daniels threw for 275 yards and 2 TDs, while also adding 74 rushing yards on top of those stats.

His ability to extend plays out and rack up FP on the ground gives him a dual-threat appeal that we all dream of. With most QBs, we cringe at scrambles, but with Daniels, we’re just looking to get rushing points.

While his late-game fumble might have cost Washington a better shot at a dub, it didn’t hurt his fantasy day too much.

Daniels is quickly climbing the ranks as one of the most exciting young QBs in the league. For fantasy purposes, his rushing floor makes him a really reliable option even in the tougher matchups. This kind of performance shows that he’s ready to help fantasy managers in both dynasty and redraft leagues. He’s always a welcomed addition to the lineup.

Jordan Addison (30.20 Fantasy Points)

Although he hasn’t been as explosive as some of the other WRs this season, Jordan Addison’s rookie campaign just keeps getting better and better.

This week, the Vikings’ wideout absolutely torched the Bears for 162 receiving yards and 1 TD. What’s even more impressive is how efficient he was. He took full advantage of every opportunity. Addison is developing into a deep-ball threat that corners and safeties fear, with multiple catches that flipped field position and kept the Vikings' offense humming the entire game. Not that you really care who wins, but it’s the momentum we’re after.

If you’ve got Addison on your squad, this week was a massive payoff and we think he’ll do it again.

As the Vikings continue to rely on him, especially with defenses focusing on Justin Jefferson, his stock remains sky-high. Yes, he’s a WR2, but he’s getting WR1 looks while attention is elsewhere. Managers in PPR leagues should be especially happy, as Addison’s involvement in critical moments keeps his target share more consistent.

Courtland Sutton (29.70 Fantasy Points)

Sutton has quietly become the go-to option in Denver. This week, he proved why.

Facing the Raiders, Sutton hauled in a whopping 8 catches for 97 yards and a touchdown. What stood out most was his ability to make clutch plays. He single-handedly helped the Broncos sustain drives and pull out a win. Russell Wilson is showing he clearly trusts Sutton in high-pressure situations. It’s that connection that is paying off for fantasy owners.

For those who’ve stuck with Sutton throughout the season, this is another reminder of his decent value. While he’s not a flashy deep-threat option like Addison or others, his red-zone presence and consistent targets make him a steady WR2 or flex play for your roster. If the Broncos’ offense keeps improving as they have, Sutton’s upside only grows.

Don’t sleep on this receiver going forward.

Patrick Mahomes (28.76 Fantasy Points)

Finally, Mahomes looks like Mahomes. It wouldn’t be a fantasy leaderboard without Patrick Mahomes.

The Chiefs’ superstar was as reliable as ever in a win over Carolina, throwing for 269 yards and notching 3 TDs. Mahomes also added a crucial 33-yard scramble late in the game which ultimately, set up the game-winning field goal. That kind of clutch play not only secured a victory for the Chiefs but also delivered big points for his fantasy owners.

Mahomes remains one of the most reliable QBs in DFS, and weeks like this reinforce why he’s worth the early-round draft capital.

With the Chiefs fighting for playoff positioning, we’re expecting Mahomes to keep delivering elite numbers as the regular season winds down. We’re just glad to see him back to his peak form.

Lock In Your Lineups for Week 13

Week 12 proved once again that stars like Barkley and Mahomes are worth their weight in gold and their salaries. However, rising talents like Daniels and Addison continue to impress us.

Whether it’s a dominant rushing performance or an assault from the air, these players have shown they can carry both their teams and your fantasy lineups to deliver tons of FP.

With the playoffs just around the corner, make sure to keep an eye on these game-changers as you set your lineups for the critical weeks ahead.
