Top 5 Fantasy Point Winners in Week 14 of the NFL 2024 Season

Week 14 brought some jaw-dropping performances that sent fantasy football owners either scrambling for the waiver wire or celebrating their lineup decisions. No matter how you look at it, there was a lot going on this week in terms of DFS action.

From record-breaking displays to breakout stars, these players lit up the fantasy scoreboard and gave DFS managers some huge bragging rights.

As usual, we’re breaking down the top 5 performers from this weekend and we’ll take a look at how their performances might impact future lineups.

Player Pass Yds Pass TD Rush Yds Rush TD Receptions Rec Yds Rec TD FP
Allen 342 3 82 3 - - - 51.88
Nacua - - - - 16 162 1 41.80
Addison - - - - 8 133 3 39.30
Charbonnet - - 134 2 7 59 - 38.30
Darnold 347 5 7 - - - - 34.58

Josh Allen (51.88 Fantasy Points)

Josh Allen did what he does best — dominate. And, from time to time, break some records.

In a 44-42 nail-biter against the Rams, Allen made NFL history by becoming the first player to throw for 3 touchdowns and run for 3 more TDs in the same game. He completed 22 of 37 passes for a spectacular 342 yards and 3 passing touchdowns while adding 82 rushing yards and 3 rushing scores to boot. Yes, you read that right — 6 total touchdowns. You can only fathom what that means for fantasy points.

Allen’s dual-threat ability was on full display. His rushing scores weren’t just goal-line plunges for a yard or 2; they came from well-designed plays and his ability to extend drives to find the end zone.

Fantasy managers who had Allen in their lineup reaped the benefits of his record-setting performance on Sunday. For those who stacked him with Bills pass-catchers in DFS contests, there’s a good chance you ran away with the points and absolutely crushed the competition.

Going forward, we think Allen remains a must-start every week and an unquestionable lock for top-tier DFS lineups. His salary is up there too, but it looks like he outweighs that by a long shot. His ability to rack up tons of FP both through the air and on the ground keeps his ceiling as high as any player in the league. Skip on the Mahomes and take the Allen next week.

Puka Nacua (41.80 Fantasy Points)

The rookie sensation has only continued his meteoric rise. He torched the Bills' defense with 12 catches on 16 targets for 162 yards and 2 eye-popping TDs.

Puka Nacua was the go-to guy for Matthew Stafford on Sunday in a game where the Rams needed every yard and point to edge out a dominant Buffalo. Whether it was tight-window grabs or yards after the catch, Nacua did it all and never looked back.

His second touchdown — a highlight-reel-worthy snag in heavy traffic (we couldn’t believe he caught it) — simply underscored just how dynamic he’s become in his first year.

For fantasy managers who drafted him late or even scooped him off waivers, he’s become an absolute steal. At this point, he’s not just a 1 or 2-time standout; he’s a weekly must-start in all formats and all contests. He’s not going to slow down and we’re excited to see where he goes the rest of the season.

The Rams' offense leans heavily on Nacua, especially with Cooper Kupp not yet fully reclaiming the spotlight he once had. If this trend continues, and we believe it will, Nacua could be a league-winner for fantasy managers for the rest of the season.

Jordan Addison (39.30 Fantasy Points)

Jordan Addison showcased why he was a first-round pick in the NFL Draft with a dominant performance in the Vikings' 42-21 rout of the Falcons. We really didn’t see this coming and with his low ownership percentage, we don’t think many did either.

Addison hauled in 8 beautiful passes for 133 yards and 3 touchdowns. He’s proved he’s more than ready to take on a leading role in the high-octane Minnesota offense.

Addison’s route running was crisp and sharp, and he displayed a knack for finding the end zone. This was especially true on his third TD — a beautiful fade route where he left the defender grasping at air. The only way to describe it was marvelous.

With Justin Jefferson sidelined due to injury, Addison is stepping up big-time and rewarding not only the Vikings but fantasy managers who believe in his potential.

For DFS, Addison’s usage makes him a valuable target, especially if the Vikings keep their pass-heavy approach which we think they will for the rest of the season. He’s trending upward and could see increased target shares even when Jefferson returns. Keep picking up Addison on the cheap for the rest of the year and we think you’ll be good to go.

Zach Charbonnet (38.30 Fantasy Points)

Zach Charbonnet finally had his breakout game we were all hoping for as he led the Seahawks to a 30-18 victory over the Cards.

The rookie RB racked up dynamite 134 rushing yards on just 22 carries and added 2 receptions for 59 yards on top of that. While he found the end zone twice, his massive yardage output was enough to make him a top fantasy and DFS scorer for the week.

Charbonnet showed excellent vision and burst. Just take a look at his 51-yard run that resulted in a TD.

His ability to contribute in the passing game only increases his value. Fantasy managers who locked him into their lineups have to be thrilled with his potential moving forward.

While Kenneth Walker III remains the lead back for the Seahawks, Charbonnet’s performance might earn him more touches and even some TD runs which makes him a sneaky DFS player and a strong flex option in season-long leagues.

Sam Darnold (34.58 Fantasy Points)

Yes, you read that correctly — Sam Darnold rounds out our top 5 DFS winners. We weren’t expecting it either.

The veteran QB looked like his USC days, throwing for 347 yards and 5 touchdowns in the Vikings' victory over Atlanta. Darnold’s efficient performance (22-of-28 passing) was bolstered by excellent play-calling and a strong supporting cast. It is by far the best game he’s had in terms of yardage and TDs as he wound up with a 157.9 QBR.

Darnold’s chemistry with Jordan Addison was apparent as we mentioned, as 3 of his touchdowns went to the rookie’s hands.

This performance might have been a one-off, sure, but it also shows what Darnold can do when given a little bit more time in the pocket. For fantasy managers, he’s worth a speculative add in deeper leagues or as a bye-week fill-in.

What’s Next for These DFS Standouts?

Josh Allen continues to solidify his place as one of the best fantasy QBs in the league, while Puka Nacua and Jordan Addison are proving to be season-changing additions for fantasy teams. Zach Charbonnet’s breakout performance could shake up the Seahawks' backfield and make a big difference going forward, and Sam Darnold might have played his way into relevance — at least for a week.

These 5 DFS picks undoubtedly launched your team into the win column if you had them rostered. If you’re looking to build your fantasy team or DFS lineup for Week 15, these players are definitely worth considering.
